Imitrex is an antimigraine medicine

Imitrex comes in different forms such as nasal spray, injection, capsule and in tablet form. In order to prevent the patient from vomiting the drug, an injection or nasal spray can be used. If the migraine headache persists even after taking the drug, you should contact your doctor immediately. Imitrex is a very complicated drug that has several side effects and must not be used for some conditions therefore you must be sure that Imitrex is fit for your health. Some common side effects for Imitrex include swelling of the throat, mouth, lips, tongue, hives and difficulty in breathing. It is also advised that you stop using Imitrex when you develop serious side effects like convulsions, nausea, bloody diarrhea, headache that leads to confusion, chronic stomach pains, numbness and cyanosis among others.
